State & Federal Agencies
We welcome state and federal agencies who manage and steward land to participate in TOGETHER Bay Area. S&FA members do not participate in TOGETHER Bay Area’s advocacy program nor serve on the board. Membership is by individual administrative units (i.e., NPS East Bay, GGRNA), not the entire agency (i.e., NPS), so that we allow for different administration units to decide what is best for them and their budget.
S&FA members are:
- Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail – National Park Service
- Golden Gate National Recreation Area – National Park Service
- Rosie the Riveter World War II Homefront – National Park Service
- The Presidio Trust

A diverse coalition united by our work to build resilience and transform our culture & systems for a healthier region.
See all the types of organizations that make up our membership.

Our member organizations work on public parks, public lands, working lands like farms and ranches and forests, rural and urban lands, trails, open spaces, preserves, and other similar natural spaces.
Their work includes acquisition, stewardship, maintenance, restoration, preservation, conservation, cultural resources and activities, outdoor recreation, public access to nature, active living as part of public health, and programs that connect people to nature.
Our members work locally in the 10-county San Francisco Bay Area
Why membership?
Your organization is invited to be a member of a large, diverse, and influential regional coalition. Not just because it can be fun and joyful (that’s important too!), but because we’re making a difference. Our members are collaborating in big and small ways for resilient lands that are integral to a thriving Bay Area and all people who live here. Like securing hundreds of millions of dollars for the State Coastal Conservancy which in turn can support the on-the-ground work of our members. Our members are connected to one another through working groups, committees, projects, and events. This means they know who to call when a problem arises, and who to contact for guidance and ideas.
